Terms of Service

Prior to registering to Turbo Thunder Tutoring’s services, it is essential to carefully read and comprehend these terms. By completing the registration, you acknowledge that you are entering a contract with us based on these Terms and Conditions. Visitors who do not register but access the Turbo Thunder Tutoring services also affirm their agreement with these Terms and Conditions each time they use the service. Please note that we may update these terms periodically.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please refrain from using our services.

2. Tutor-Student Relationship

Tutors and students are prohibited from establishing any relationship outside of scheduled tutoring sessions and tutor-related work facilitated through WhatsApp chats. No personal, social, or financial connections should be pursued beyond the scope of academic assistance. Any violation of this rule will result in immediate termination of services and employment.

3. Communication and Tutoring Sessions

All communication related to tutoring sessions, scheduling, payments, and other tutor-student interactions must be conducted through the designated communication channels provided by Turbo Thunder Tutoring. This includes but is not limited to WhatsApp chats, the messaging system within our platform, and official email correspondence. This ensures clear communication and facilitates an efficient organization of sessions.

4. Tutor-Advisor Business Conduct

Tutors and advisors are required to conduct all aspects of their tutoring business, including scheduling, payments, and academic discussions, within the designated communication channels provided by Turbo Thunder Tutoring. Any transactions or agreements made outside of this platform are not endorsed or supported by Turbo Thunder Tutoring. In the event of unforeseen circumstances that prevent the completion of services, Turbo Thunder Tutoring will work with both parties to find a suitable resolution, which may include rescheduling sessions or providing alternative tutors.

5. Code of Conduct

Both tutors and students are expected to maintain a respectful, professional, and inclusive demeanor during all interactions within our services. Any form of harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated and will result in the immediate termination of services or employment.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Tutors and students are encouraged to provide reasonable notice for session cancellations or rescheduling. In cases where the tutor is unable to provide services due to unforeseen circumstances, Turbo Thunder Tutoring will assist in rescheduling sessions or providing alternative tutors.

If a student fails to notify absence one hour before their scheduled session, a refund will not be provided. If a tutor misses a lesson, one compensatory, non-transferrable session will be credited to the student’s account.

7. Payment and Termination of Services

All payments for tutoring sessions must be made according to the payment instructions provided in the onboarding service guide. If payment is not received on time, services will be suspended until payment is completed.

We may discontinue services at its discretion in the following circumstances:

  • Non-payment of fees.

  • Repeated no-shows or cancellations with insufficient notice.

  • Disruptive behaviour by students or parents/guardians, including harassment, disrespect, or actions that interfere with the learning environment.

In the event of termination due to the above reasons, any unused prepaid sessions may be forfeited at the company’s discretion.

8. Tech and Connectivity

Tutoring sessions are conducted online and require a reliable internet connection, working audio/video equipment, and access to the designated platform.

  • If a student’s connection fails or equipment malfunctions during a session, the session will be considered completed and no refund or rescheduling will be offered.

  • If a tutor’s connection fails or equipment malfunctions, Turbo Thunder Tutoring will reschedule the session at no additional cost or provide an equivalent credit.

  • Turbo Thunder Tutoring is not responsible for any issues caused by third-party software (e.g., Zoom outages) but will make reasonable efforts to reschedule or accommodate affected sessions.

9. Intellectual Property

All materials, resources, and content provided during tutoring sessions are the intellectual property of Turbo Thunder Tutoring and may not be reproduced, distributed, or shared without prior consent.

10. Limitation of Liability

Turbo Thunder Tutoring shall not be liable for any failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from any cause beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to power failure, internet service provider failure, industrial action, fire, flood, storms, earthquakes, or governmental action.

11. Privacy and Data Protection

Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

12. Changes to Terms

Turbo Thunder Tutoring reserves the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
