What platform are the sessions on?

All sessions are conducted through Zoom, offering a virtual classroom experience from the comfort of your home. With Zoom, you can record your tutor lessons, so you have access to it whenever you need it! Prior to your lesson, a link will be shared via text and e-mail which will direct you to the session with your tutor.

How can I be sure the tutor is qualified to teach me or my children?

All tutors and student advisors undergo a rigorous hiring process. Candidates are screened and partake in multiple academic tests to prove their expertise in the specific subject(s) they will be teaching. Tutors are required to have a background as past students or teachers in the subjects they tutor. Similarly, our student advisors are selected based on their previous experience in academic counseling. While our hiring process may seem stringent, it is designed to guarantee our students receive high-quality, dependable guidance.

What is a Meet Your Tutor session?

Meet Your Tutor is a free 20-minute introductory with your potential tutor to guarantee compatibility before booking full sessions. It can be structured however you like, but usually, the first 10 minutes are dedicated to discussing the tutor’s qualifications and your specific academic needs. The remaining 10 minutes allows you to briefly work through homework, assignments, or a test review together. This gives students a preview of the tutor’s teaching style and idea of what online learning is like. Due to our commitment to maintaining affordable rates, we do not offer free full-length sessions. However, the Meet Your Tutor introductory provides a valuable glimpse of our service quality.

What subjects are tutored?

How many people are allowed in tutor sessions?

We prioritize personalized, one-on-one tutoring as we believe students learn best this way. However, for those who choose to learn with siblings, friends, or simply have a preference for group dynamics, we offer group session options for Tier 3 tutor packages. 1:1 learning has its benefits, but learning in a group setting allows students to build on team-work skills and collaborative learning experiences.

Does the money-back guarantee cover all packages?

The money-back guarantee supports Tier 3 tutor sessions, Standardized Test Prep, and Study Abroad packages. It reflects our confidence in the quality of our tutors and advisors. If you don't achieve the results you hoped for, we offer a hassle-free refund. We do request students to share their final grades and areas of difficulty for reference.

Do we get what we pay for? Are sessions low in quality?

3. Work from home jobs: We do not have a physical tuition center. Our office is used for administrative purposes and on a needs-based basis for employee/parent-advisor meetings. By using this approach, we can cut our costs and pass our savings to our students.

4. Digital resources: Providing study materials, worksheets, and resources digitally reduces printing and distribution costs, making learning materials easily accessible to students without additional expenses.

The local tutor, having attended the same school as our student desires, understands the academic expectations, aiding prospective students in preparation. The advisor assists with the application process and explores scholarship opportunities, while the local guide familiarizes students with their chosen city for a smoother transition. The primary goal of this kit is to facilitate an easy transition into a new academic and cultural environment.

What happens if I miss a session?

We value the time of our tutors and students. We ask students to notify their tutors about any schedule changes one hour before their planned session. If your tutor or student advisor misses a lesson, you’ll get an extra session for free. If you require an urgent session, please contact the support number listed in your registration package.
